Evergreens from around Europe | Big Green Egg

For this project, I chose a photographic style that emphasizes simplicity and contrast. Each dish is presented with two strikingly different images. The first is a pure, minimalistic shot of the dish in a clean, classic setup—no styling, just the dish itself, letting its beauty speak for itself. The second image is dynamic and intimate, focusing on the hands of Chef Michèl Lambermon as he prepares the food. These images invite the viewer to follow his lead, literally guiding you through the process.

Between the recipes, you’ll find ingredient shots photographed against a deep black background. These images highlight the raw beauty of the ingredients used in the dishes, adding depth and visual rhythm to the book.

Evergreens from Around Europe brings together the best of two worlds: timeless recipes to cook and classic songs to enjoy. This exclusive Golden Edition includes a recipe book, a music book, and three gold-colored vinyl records, all packaged in a specially designed 1970s-inspired record case. Released as a Limited Edition of 1,974 copies—marking the year Big Green Egg was founded in the United States—each set comes with a brass plate engraved with a unique number. A must-have and collector’s item for every creative EGG enthusiast.
