For this project, I chose a photographic style that emphasizes simplicity and contrast. Each dish is presented with two strikingly different images. The first is a pure, minimalistic shot of the dish in a clean, classic setup—no styling, just the dish itself, letting its beauty speak for itself. The second image is dynamic and intimate, focusing on the hands of Chef Michèl Lambermon as he prepares the food. These images invite the viewer to follow his lead, literally guiding you through the process.

Between the recipes, you’ll find ingredient shots photographed against a deep black background. These images highlight the raw beauty of the ingredients used in the dishes, adding depth and visual rhythm to the book.

Evergreens from Around Europe brings together the best of two worlds: timeless recipes to cook and classic songs to enjoy.
